Our School 


Vanleena Dance Academy is the largest dance school on Vancouver’s beautiful North Shore. Vanleena’s 500 students can choose from over 200 classes per week. Classes offered range from pre-school to vocational; recreational to performing and ages 2½ to adult. Dance programs run from September to June followed by a variety of summer programs in July and August.
 
Vanleena students range from those taking class once a week to those who take up to 22 classes per week. Students are encouraged to explore a range of dance disciplines, to take advantage of the many performing opportunities offered by the school and to become involved in the rich dance community that the school offers.

Class selection can be discussed with one of the directors of Vanleena during the registration process. For some, registration and class selection will mark the first step toward RAD qualification, or perhaps a career for those who choose to dance professionally for others dance is a fun way to express themselves artistically and stay active.. More importantly our goal is that all Vanleena graduates embody our philosophy to excel in all their life pursuits.

Vanleena Dance Academy is all about energy, excitement, enthusiasm, dedication, commitment, encouragement, passion, and the love of dance. The teachers, staff, exams, performances, competitions, and parades make this dance school an incredible experience. It is a fabulous place to dance!
